Picture this, you’re listening to your playlist on some kind of streaming app or even on the radio when the last song ends. Something comes on that you feel like you can relate to, so you look the artist up and see a unique name: Unlike Pluto. The song is called “Dig” and awesome loop of indie/electronic.
Born and raised in Atlanta Georgia (Armond Arabshahi) Unlike Pluto is an American artist and makes very flavorful emotion-filled music that often entrances listeners and makes them relate in some way to what they’re listening to. This diversity is much needed when the radio is usually playing all the same music.
Unlike Pluto’s music is so alive and makes listeners feel alive. One of his latest albums “Ghost Gardens” portrays this perfectly. His music combines elements of jazz, electronic, rock and indie music into a symphony. Unlike Pluto’s music is just one of those just worth listening to especially if you’re tired of the same songs and music genres being milked for mainstream consumption.
Unlike Pluto is most known for his song “Everything Black” and debuting under the music label Monstercat before solo producing and being featured in the musical group Why Mona.
So, ask me about one of my favorite artists and I am going to say Unlike Pluto because his music has meaning.
