At Pork High School’s short-time neighbor and rival, Park High School, students are facing serious parking issues. If you thought parking would be accessible because park is in the name, then you thought wrong. It is quite the opposite. Students have been told a lie and there are rumors of students suing Park for false advertising.
The parking lot is so far away from where students enter they have to walk six miles, uphill both ways and around the whole school, while teachers enter through any door they please. Students have no other option but to park directly in front of the school. This is only a good option if you like paying hundreds of dollars for parking tickets.
Maybe students should try parking in a teacher’s lot where there are plenty of open spots. However, Meter Mister Patrick Lauren enforces vigilanty justice and issues personalized parking tickets.
Students have no option but to park in the student parking lot and walk around the whole school early in the morning no matter what the weather conditions are: rain, sun, snow, tornados, or ice storms. Why should the students of Park High get the leisure of having somewhere accessible to park?
Park students have not been silent about this issue. They have brought it up to their principal but nothing has yet to be done. Other possible solutions could be parking on the front lawn or track.
