Baseball season underway
April 13, 2022
With baseball season just underway we checked in with some of the Panther coaches and players on what they had to say about the 2022 season.
Joe Miller, Head of Activities
“As a team there is a lot of young baseball players, a large number of freshman and sophmores. That is a testament to the team encouraging people to come out, and creating a fun, safe environment for new players. I’m looking forward to warmer weather, more importantly the growth as a team. Exciting times!”
Tim Glidden, Head Varsity Coach
“We have a very young team this year with a few outstanding seniors who will lead us on this journey. It will be a long journey, but I know our guys will respond and create a successful outcome.”
Brandon Saldivar, Head JV Coach
“I’m very excited to be working with such a dedicated, fun group of young men and I can’t wait to see how far we’ve improved by the end of this season!”
Elliot Bednar, Varsity Player
“Team’s looking good and we are expecting to make a deep playoff run.”
Matt Kirchoff, Varsity Captain
“As a team we have put in a lot of work and really improved, We face some tough competition but this year I believe we stand a fighting chance at being a contender in our conference.”
Isaiah Harris, Varsity Player
“I think the season will be good and I hope to have fun with my guys”
Joseph Espinoza, Varsity Captain
”I think for the first time in a while our entire team is on the same page and all of us have the same goal of giving our all every single play.”
There are high hopes for the Panthers in this 2022 season.
