The 2022 track and field season only started about a month ago, but the indoor season is close to crossing the finish line. The running, sprinting, jumping, and throwing Panthers are pleased to welcome  two new head coaches: Coach Freddy Garcia and Coach Heather Vallejos.

Coach Vallejos is coming off her first season as the girls cross country coach and teaches English at Park. Coach Garcia, who teaches Bilingual English at Park, was previously a track coach at Tremper High School. Garcia is also training for the Boston Marathon.

The short indoor season has been a success, with top returning junior Emmanual Johnson placing first in the boys varsity high jump at the Eagle Season Opener, tying his personal best of 6-6.
