Peppermint Bark

Ingredients:
1 cup crushed candy canes
2 pounds white chocolate
Peppermint flavoring (optional)
Plastic bag
Directions:
Step 1: Place candy canes in the plastic bag and use a rolling pin to break them into ¼ inch chunks or smaller.
Step 2: Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute
Step 3: Combine candy canes chunks with chocolate (add peppermint flavoring at this point if desired)
Step 4: Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet layered with parchment or waxed paper
Step 5: Place in the refrigerator for 45 minutes or until firm
Step 6: Remove from cookie sheet and break into pieces
