The Latino Student Union (LSU) is a student-led organization dedicated to creating a positive Latino voice on the school campus and in the community. The group is focused on the educational advancement of Latino students and encourage cultural awareness, political activism, fellowship, leadership development, and coalition building amongst other organizations on campus and in the community.

The club welcomes everyone who wants to learn and have fun experiences. LSU celebrates the heritage of being Latino by trying different food, appreciating latino music and dance, and learning history.

Park’s LSU is mentored by Mr.Palacios. Different roles were assigned to students so the union could be more about student led:

• Vice-President: Jovaniel Acosta-Calzada
• Secretary: Gabriela Cruz
• Vice-Secretary: Johnny Sabala
• Treasurer: Ingrid Gonzales
• Public Relations: Karla Casillas
• Sport and Activities: Mia Lozano.

These officers are a great resource to ask questions about LSU. Meetings are every Wednesday or Friday during advisory. The day before and the day of the meetings there will be announcements in Spanish and English about the meeting and the room it will be held in. All are welcome.

El club da la bienvenida a todos los que quieran aprender y tener experiencias divertidas. LSU celebra la herencia de ser Latino probando comida diferente, apreciando la música, el baile latinos y aprendiendo historia.

LSU de Park es asesorado por el Sr. Palacios. Se asignaron diferentes roles a los estudiantes para que el sindicato pudiera ser más dirigido por los estudiantes:
