At the start of the new 2022-2023 school year we were all surprised with a new CNN10 host. Carl Azuz was not there, but a new host, Coy “The Boy” Wire, was filling in. A lot of people have different opinions about this sudden new change.

Senior Park student Jovaniel Acosta-Calzada said, “Who is this bald dude?” when he first saw Coy on the screen instead of Carl. So I asked him some questions about how he feels.

“To be honest it does feel really weird to see someone else have the spot of Carl, but eventually it will go away. I just feel like he is really boring and does not have the energy that Carl had. What I miss most about Carl is definitely his stupid puns at the end of every video,” Jovaniel stated. This is just one of many students who is disappointed in CNN10 this year.

According to a video that Carl Azuz posted, he left the show for personal reasons. He told his fans that they were the best audience in the world and thanked them for everything.
