Shamrock Shake Dupe

A fun drink for St Patrick’s day to spice it up. Here we have a sweet recipe to a favorite seasonal drink, the shamrock shake, that will save you a buck or two and can make it right in your own home. 

Ingredients 

☘️2 cups of vanilla ice cream 

☘️1 ¼ cups of milk

☘️9 drops of green food coloring  

☘️¼ tablespoon mint extract 

☘️2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup 

☘️2 tablespoons of whipped cream 

☘️½ teaspoon of green decorated sugar 

Instructions 

  1. First add the ice cream, milk, food coloring, and mint extract into a blender. Blend until smooth!
  2. Then drizzle the chocolate syrup around the inside of two tall glasses
  3. Add shake into glass then decorate with whipped cream and decorated sugar 
  4. ENJOY!

Green Pudding Cookies

A leprechaun twist on a traditional chocolate chip cookie. Everyone loves cookies with milk so with St Patrick’s day coming up try whipping up some mint chocolate pudding cookies to share with friends and family.

Ingredients 

☘️1 cup of sugar 

☘️½ cup of butter

☘️1 egg 

☘️½ cup sour cream 

☘️1 small box instant vanilla pudding mix 

☘️½ tsp salt 

☘️½ tsp baking soda 2 cups all-purpose flour 

☘️2 tsp mint extract 

☘️3 drops blur coloring + 10-15 drops of green coloring 

☘️1 ½ cups chocolate chips 

Instructions 

In a bowl cream together sugar and butter, then add the egg, sour cream and pudding mix. Then in a small bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda.

  1.  Add both flour and pudding mixture together until well combined. Add in food coloring or until desired colored
  2. Fold in chocolate chips. for an extra boost of flavor adding in about ½ cup of Andes baking bites that will melt into the cookies while baking
  3. Take tablespoons of dough, round them out and place onto a greased baking sheet
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes
  5. Set aside to cool before devouring
