Beginning Tuesday night, continuing into Thursday morning, extremely cold wind chill temperatures are expected to hit southern Wisconsin. According to the National Weather Service, wind chill temperatures are predicted to range from -40 ℉ to -50 ℉. Frostbite can occur within in 5 minutes. It is advised by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to stay inside if possible and to keep unavoidable trips outside brief.
